"We're Outside" - Group Art Exhibition; Marcus Garvey Park, Harlem NYC

we’re outsiiiiide…!!

I'm honored to be one of the 28 artists participating in We're Outside. I hope you'll join me on August 29 for an afternoon of contemporary art, live jazz, creativity, and community in Harlem’s Marcus Garvey Park.

I’ll be sharing something new I’ve been working on this year, called “Flower Child”, as well ass a previous creation done back in ‘23 titled “Pleasure P”. Huge thank you to Sandra Heath and the Heath Gallery, who continuously encourage me through my creative journey. Thanks to the sponsors, MMPCIA for this initiative to keep positivity and art forms of all sorts to remain alive in Harlem.

Spend the afternoon with us in Harlem at Marcus Garvey Park l Northwest Lawn on Saturday, August 29, from 2:00–7:00 p.m.

Meet the artists, experience original contemporary artwork, make art in a free self-portrait workshop, strike a pose at our community selfie station, relax and enjoy live jazz, and experience an afternoon where art, music, creativity, and community come together in the heart of Harlem.

This project is made possible in part with funds from Creative Engagement and UMEZ Arts Engagement, regrant programs supported by DCLA and NYSCA and administered by LMCC. Private support is provided by City Parks Foundation and Partnerships for Parks through the NYC Green Fund.
